Parishioners of all the Anglican parishes in the City of Greater Sudbury are invited to join together to celebrate the Great Vigil of Easter at 20:00 hr (8:00 p.m.) on 23 April 2011 at the Church of the Epiphany, Sudbury. We will hear the story of God’s promises proclaimed, we will renew our baptismal vows, and we will celebrate our first Easter communion. This service marks the lighting of the new flame which lights our Easter journey. Everyone is welcome to attend. Archdeacon Anne Germond will be the presiding officiant.
