Church of the Ascension, Sudbury is holding a “Green Church” workshop on Thursday 26 January 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The workshop is being conducted by Norman Levesque. He writes:
The Green Church Program was born in a few parishes in Montreal and five years later it is flourishing everywhere in Canada. It offers resources on www.GreenChurch.ca, training to its staff, a Green Church toolkit, and certification very soon. The churches in the network integrate Creation Care with these three pillars: spirituality, awareness, and action. Plus this is a great project to involve youth in the Church.
Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no cost for this workshop although an offering will be taken to defray the speaker’s expenses. Tea/coffee and refreshments will be served.
