Blessing of the Pets

For pet-lovers there will be a Blessing of the Pets service on 4 October 2013 (Feast day of St. Francis of Assis) at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, 271 Van Horne Street at 6:30 p.m.  The free ecumenical service is being hosted by the North East Ministerial Association and will last approximately one hour.  Pets on lead or in carriers are invited to attend.  A memory board will be available for pet owners to attach a picture of their deceased pets for remembrance during the event.  For more information contact the parish office of St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 705-566-1876.
