Ordination of Catherine Hazlitt

An exciting announcement from Bishop Anne! God-willing, Ms. Catherine Hazlitt will be ordained to the sacred order of deacons on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s, Manitowaning. The Ven. Glen Miller will be leading her pre-ordination retreat at Villa Loyola. The ordination preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Ronald Kydd, her spiritual mentor and Professor Emeritus of Christian History at Tyndale Seminary. The liturgical colour will be red. A reception will follow the service at Knox United Church, 25 Napier Street, Manitowaning. Catherine currently serves as the Lay Incumbent for the Manitoulin Island Parishes.
